Past few hours have been extremely frustrating for the SonyPS3 owners, as the Sunday morning welcomed the Sony PS3 users with an error
message. According to the reports Sony PS3 users received error “8001050F” on
their consoles after they tried to sign in into the Play Station Network,
whereas many users have also unable to play games in offline mode too.
While several forums posted the reports about Sony SP3 and
its network problem, Sony Corporation it’s self is aware of the problem and
issued statement asking for apologies from the users and stating that they are
working their best to restore the systems and services.
It has been speculated that the Sony PS3 new model slimline
is not affected with this problem; hence it is not difficult to understand that
there is no problem with the service itself, but it is related to the internal
calendar or clock of the machine. It could be the reason for the entire problem
involving leap year as it occurred on the last day of February.
According to our information the Sony PS3 saved date will be
restored by the organization, however it is unclear that already won trophies
by the users are recoverable or not.
It is advised to the Sony PS3 users not to try to use
pre-slim models until further notice. It has been said by the Sony Organization
on the twitter that all the information related to the error problem will be
provided to the users through micro blog TWITTER.
So stay connected, and wait for further information.
