The Samsung Epic 4G launched on 31st August
2010 with the introductory price of $250 in two years binding with SprintNextel.

The Samsung Epic 4G is a Smartphone with a physical sliding
keyboard and Android 2.1 processor. The service providing company, Sprint has
stated that they started booking orders from 13th August and regular
sales began from 31st August.
The Samsung Company is more concerned about the inventory of
the Samsung Epic 4G.
Joe Mandacina, the spokesman of the company stated that they
were waiting to manage their inventory and it was one of the reasons to delay
because supply is the most important part of sales and they don’t want their
customers got embraced and frustrated.
According to the analysts, the price of Samsung Epic 4G is
very high as compare to its competitors. The price is $50 more than the Evo
which features 4.3 inches touch screen whereas Epic 4G features 4 inches touch
screen.
The analysts are also saying that the QWERTY keyboard of
Epic 4G may attract the blackberry users and ones who wants to shift to a big
screen mobile with physical keyboard.
The Sprint people are saying that they will be selling the
Samsung Epic 4G through their direct sales channels and they will promote the
handset which can be used as business purpose as well, to document capturing,
code scanning, uploading and streaming of videos and other data for business
purposes.
